Do not cast W into the wave before the opponent has spent the spell that clears voidlings, because on Malzahar that usually hands over both your shove and your trade window .
Malzahar’s combo is not fixed: against targets who can flash or dash, W-R or E-W-R is often better than a full opener because Q and R both refresh E, so saving Q for after suppression extends the kill and catches the exit .
