Play by the Samira rule “count the letters, then spend the dash”: weave distinct hits toward S, use W as a two-note stack tool, and let E-Q be the fast close once the stop spell is gone, because Samira cashes style strings rather than forcing entry raw
Lane is an HP budget for one real all-in, so use Q to tax step-ups, drop the CS that costs too much health, and keep enough bar that level 3 or 6 plus allied engage is still lethal; Samira is punished harder than most peer ADCs when that early buy timing slips
Good Samira games chain before the map resets: stay near the next skirmish where one takedown can turn into an E reset or aggressive Flash multikill, because recent data puts her at the top of bot lane for solo-kill and early off-lane kill swing
Ult when the fight has already given you permission, not the first second you can press it. In practice that usually means you already built most of your style, the spell that interrupts or walls you is gone, or your support locked somebody long enough that E-Q gets you to S immediately. If you start R too early, you often trade your whole turn for one cancel. If you start it after W bought you two notes and the first target is already committed, the spin becomes much harder to answer. Think of R as the receipt for a good entry, not the way you prove one exists.
Samira builds a combo by hitting attacks or abilities unique from the previous hit. Samira's attacks in melee range deal additional magic damage. Samira's attacks against enemies affected by Immobilizing effects will dash her to her attack range. If the enemy is Knocked Up, she also keeps them Knocked Up briefly.
Samira fires a shot or swings her sword, dealing damage. If cast during Wild Rush, strike all enemies in her path upon completion.
Samira slashes around her, damaging enemies and destroying enemy missiles.
Samira dashes through an enemy (including structures), slashing enemies she passes through and gaining Attack Speed. Killing an enemy champion refreshes this ability's cooldown.
Samira unleashes a torrent of shots from her weapons, wildly shooting all enemies surrounding her.
